Homebuyer FAQs
-
đź’¬ What makes Midwest HomeM@tch different from other real estate websites?
We’re not like other real estate platforms. We don’t throw listings at you and hope something sticks. We M@tch you with a vetted team—agent, lender, and down payment programs—based on your actual goals. Strategy over scrolls. Every time.
💬 I’m a first-time buyer. Can I really buy a home right now?
In many instances—Yes—if you have the right guidance. Most of our buyers don’t have 20% down. Many qualify for assistance. We’ll walk you through what you really need (and what you don’t).
đź’¬ Do I need perfect credit to qualify for anything?
Nope. While higher credit helps with better rates, many of our buyers start with less-than-perfect scores. We’ll connect you with lenders who look at your full financial picture—not just the number. Note: it is important that you have a track record of bills.
đź’¬ What happens after I submit my M@tch Briefing?
We review your profile, build your custom M@tch File, and pair you with your real estate team. From there, your agent will guide you to the finish line—and we stay in your corner the whole way.
💬 What if I don’t like my agent or lender?
No hard feelings. If your M@tch doesn’t feel right emotionally or financially, we’ll rem@tch you—quickly, quietly, and without the awkwardness. It’s part of our Rem@tch Clause.
đź’¬ Can I use my own lender?
Absolutely. If you’ve got a lender you trust, we’ll collaborate. We may also offer alternative mortgage options—especially those with down payment assistance you might not be aware of—so you can compare and choose what’s truly best for your bottom line.
đź’¬ How long does the process take?
That depends on your timeline—but we move fast. Some buyers are ready to close in 30–45 days. Others need more prep. Either way, we pace with you—not pressure you.
💬 Is this service really free? What’s the catch?
No catch. No cost to you. Our partner network compensates us—so you get concierge-level service without the invoice.
đź’¬ Can I refer a friend?
Please do. We love connecting with buyers who are ready to do things differently. Tell them to get M@tched—and let us know you sent them on the application.
